FMLA doc retention

I checked the US DOL site and couldn't quickly find retention requirement for FMLA documentation. Anyone have a answer or reference? I've been big on purging and not keeping what we're not obligated to keep!

I don't know either, but I keep mine forever, but for no less than 3 years. Never know if the info will be helpful in the various lawsuits that could emerge. Could help or harm the company, but we do a good job, so I tend to believe it would help the company.

We retain FML and attendance (sick leave) records for the current year plus 3.
