FMLA Nightmare - what to do, what to do....

Hello all,
We currently have an employee who went out on FMLA for stress and mental exhaustion, the doctor certified that she was to work no more than three days per week until September. She has indicated to her supervisor that she needs the leave to transport her grandchildren, who she has take to and from school. She took custody of the children in July of last year, so it isn't a bonding issue. The thing that sort of gets me is, she wants to change the terms of her leave, so that she can arrive late and leave work early. I don't see this as a valid use of FMLA, but she is already certified until September. Is there anything that I can do about this?

Bottom line, she cannot take time off under FMLA to transport her grandchildren to school. Those absences should fall under your attendence policy.
