Salary Surveys

I'm trying to create a pay structure for our company and was wondering if anyone had any recommedations for salary survey products or websites.

I found ERI online and tried to use their demo version but it is very limited. The only way to view all of its capabilites is to purchase it. Has anyone used ERI? Would you recommend it?

Generally speaking, I do not use surveys that are not locally focused, and, if possible, industry specific.

It does you no good to know what casino dealers in Nevada are paid if you are engaged in mfg in Illinois. That's obvious, but even mfg pay in Nevada would have limited comparability to someone in Illinois.

I use the state workforce center surveys, which are free. I also use the local Employer's Association surveys, which are free if you participate in them. For a third one I use BLR.

I like the BLR surveys and I also use the State's Occupational Handbook survey's.

They usually are fairly compatable with each other.

The BLR has a lot more detail especially on salary ranges.

I just knew there had to be free stuff out there but every time I ran a search I found so many websites trying to sell something.
