DRIVERS' LICENSE CHECK

Does anyone know of a reputable company that will do driver license checks for a flat fee -- or is relatively reasonable. The company we use for Background checks has gone ballistic on their prices (if not part of the package i.e. credit, criminal, etc.) and we need to do a large number of employees to keep our ins. carrier happy.

Can anyone help?

Ditto, we have used this company for 5 years and are very happy with their services and support of our compliant needs. We also do MVRs on all drivers of fleet vehicles for risk management and insurance coverage of the fleet. The MVRs are done on line, and it takes only a matter of hours and the come back will give you a printed copy of the driving record over the last three years. From these we do a grading program and put serious offense drivers on notice of discipline required from additional convictions up to and including termination when they become uninsurable. We only have one driver on probation this year, meaning one more judicated ticket of anything and he will come out of the driving seat.

You may want to try your state's Division of Motor Vehicles. We do an annual check of MVR's and I believe the cost is $8.00 per record checked.

We go through the Department of Revenue for D L checks, it only charges us $1.25 per check! I am in MO but would think your state might do the same. My paperwork shows MO Department of Revenue Electronic Record System. Hope this helps.

Suggest that you go thru your Automobile Insurance
carrier, as they would want to know the driving records, so they can insure you or not insure you.
Number of years ago, our insurance company ran a check, refused to insure 80% of the drivers, and we learned that our principal driver lost his license 7 years prior. How's that for effective management ?
