I have rec'd an email stating that the I-9's have been updated for the first time since '91 I think. Stating that we need to order new ones of course. Have any of you rec'd this and are you aware of the changes if they exsist. Of course they don't send you a copy to compare with the one I am using now to verify. Is this a sales gimic or for real? Thanks in advance.

1. The only guidance of an official nature on the new I-9 I could find is at the very bottom of this document:

I'm with the majority on this one. Don't sweat it, wait until official guidance is disseminated and then download the form free of charge.

I also received the same advertisement. The govt. was planning to update this year, so it sounds as though that has happened. However, I went to the DOL website and they do not have the new form posted yet. I am waiting for their posting to download and then I will use.
