Does anyone know where I could find a job description format? (Preferably ADA compliant?)

I use Descriptions Now software which seems to work - but requires pretty heavy editing to customize. One of the nice things is that it does allow you, via a point-and-click interface, to enter ADA-specific tasks (e.g., required motions include grasping with the hands, reaching, etc.).

Are you a SHRM member? If so, they have an extensive list of job descriptions.

Yes, am a member but was looking for a format rather than an individual job description. If one is there -- I missed it.

I also use CCH Descriptions Now, and agree about the editing, but I find it most useful - we serve the disabled community at our company, and have had no problems with the physical requirements section. Also, I am currently participating in a focus group for them to give feedback on the upgraded product, that will hopefully be out next year some time. It appears it will be greatly enhanced with a lot more flexibility for off-site managers' input and tracking. Good luck.
