When a married couple works for the same employer does that allow them 12 weeks each for FMLA (for themselves and their child) for a total of 24 weeks or do they share the 12 weeks?
Not for the birth of a child or care for a sick parent. It's allowable to enforce an aggregate combination total of 12 in that case under the federal part.
Agree with Don D. If it were for only their own "Serious Health Condition" then they would each have 12 weeks. But for Birth or adoption bonding or care for family - time must be shared.

Assuming they *each* qualify and can provide the medical certs.
