What do your department directors pay towards health insurance?

We have a benefit package for staff employees and a benefit package for salaried-department directors. With upcoming budget preparation, management is taking a serious look at health insurance contributions.

Currently, salaried-department directors get single health insurance at no cost. Department Directors pay 10% of the family premium if they want dependent coverage.

Our Sr. Management gets a benefit package that includes free health insurance benefits for self and family. They also get an additional 5 days of PTO per year.

Anywhere I have been, having multiple benefits have caused morale problems. I have always recommended equalization and consistency. We pick up 68% of all premiums and EVERY employee that enrolls pays 38%. Just one less thing to give somebody and excuse to come and talk to me!!

Directors and above receive their health insurance, either family or single, at no cost to them.

All other employees pay $21/week for single coverage or $30/week for family coverage.

Ours is across the board - employees pay 10% of single coverage and 45% of dependent coverage.

Agree with the two others who do not have different contribution schemes depending on level of employee. All of our employees pay 5% for single and 15% for 2-party or family - no difference whether a mail clerk or COO.

ALL EXEMPT EMPLOYEES PAY THE SAME PREMIUM FOR SINGLE AND FAMILY COVERAGE AS THE NON-EXEMPT EMPLOYEES. $12.00 PER WEEK FOR SINGLE AND $41.50 FOR THE FAMILY COVERAGE. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE; THERE MAY BE A DIFFERENCE FOR THE OWNERS, BUT I WOULD NOT HAVE "A NEED TO KNOW". THERE COULD BE A SPECIAL PERK ESTABLISHED BY THE SENIOR LEADERS AS LONG AS THE PERK IS WITHIN THE ERISSA LAW.

Our company pays 100% for all employees and their dependents for health & life insurance. Supplemental health insurance, additional life insurance, dental and vision are paid through a nominal contribution from the employee. Directors are treated the same concerning insurance.

At my former place of employment the theory ran what is good for the goose is good for the gander and support those who have replied, keep it even. Here, we pay 100% of ee coverage. We just went to a different program for dependents. The more you make, the more you pay. We are paying 55% of the cost of dependent coverage for the lower pay grades, 45% for the middle and 35% of the Director level. There hasn't been any squawking but that level also has other perks. .car allowance, more life insurance and increased retirement benefits.

Our director's are on the same pay schedule for benefits as our regular employees. We don't differentiate when it comes to benefits.

They just get more money than anyone else! $$$

As far as health insurance we treat all ee's equally. With the exception of the owners

The company will pay 75% and the ee's pay 25%. I think this is pretty good for today's market, however our excutives think they derserve more, and the general body of ee's feel like they are being ripped off.

Ours is based on a percentage (1.38% at this point) of annual base pay. That way everyone pays the "same", but more entry level staff aren't hurt by higher costs. Barbara

Our management, including the executive officers, get the very same benefits as the regular employees. Always have, always will.

We treat everyone the same. We're self-funded - handled by a TPA. We pay 100% for employees, but none on dependents.

The directors and managers premiums are 100% paid by the company for individual and family. The rest pay 10% individual and 30% family. The executives are in a seperate corporation and theirs are also 100% paid for by the company.
