What is the time frame in the state of Georgia for a job posting prior to the interview process and what information must the job posting require?. Are there sample job postings and policies for review?

I don't know of any legal requirements for job postings unless your state has a very unusual state law on the books or unless you are under a labor contract that requires certain things for a job posting procedure. I have a job posting procedure that I'll be glad to fax you if you will send me your fax number.

There is no legal requirement in Georgia for the length of time a posting must stay up. The length of time the posting stays up or whether or not you post the position would become a problem only if you violate your policy (if you have one)that requires that all vacancies be posted for a specific length of time. This applies to private employers. I'm not sure about public employers such as the State or a city.
